I truly believe we are deliberately dragging our feet on this to get the CL one match ban out of the way. Bob's protestations are a red herring. He'll sign after the Udinese match. We can teach other clubs to stop playing smart asses at the same time, after all they are still paying his wages, so haggling over 1m is pointless.

nah cant see it - think Mancini wants all his players in - seems to me we are either miles apart on valuation or there is something else

really think its time to tell wenger to get it done now or fuck off! why this is dragging on so much for a player with 1 year left and refusing to sign another is beyond me. theres plenty of other midfielders knocking about that we could be losing out on while we fanny about. from what ive read even mancini is getting pissed off with it.

calm down dear

ok mr. winner ;)

it is as far as I know a lot more than £1M we/they are haggling about

I agree, this is all it is IMO.

With a username like yours you sound worse than Cameron- spent hours outside Maine Road entrance trying to get rid of Mr PW Swales!!!!

I spent YEARS doing the same mate, there is irony in the choice of name

(ok a naive question!!)
Is he all that good really? will he add so much more to our side than other cheaper options say a goetze, mata, hazard etc..? He has prem experience alright, but why cant we get (one of)those and make him a winner like silva, kompany,NDJ,zaba? They were all good in other leagues and now successful in prem league. I have a feeling that these players are more loyal to city than "proven" players like bellamy,Ade or even tevez(sorry to say so)

Goetze and Hazard aren't even for sale.

Supposing he replicated last season's form, he'd add the 10-15 goals that Mancini claims City need to win the league. 10 goals in 30 games last season, he's like the opposite of Silva, who assists for fun but isn't a great goalscorer. Nasri doesn't set up that many but scores and can dribble, which draws defenders away from other dangerous players. Silva + Nasri together = yes please.

Thats how I see it perfect complimentary players to each other. Nasri can pass just didnt have many assists, and has very good touch.

Nasri would be a good signing, but i think Mata is a better fit tbh as he's more of a natural wideman, and he already he has good chemistry with Silva. I'm not saying that Nasri wouldn't be a good signing, but its just my two cents.
