Can't agree with this.I was so anti Barry it wasn't funny until the community shield.

Milner got the nod and ran around like a headless chicken chasing shadows,Barry came on and totally set the tempo for us..so for now and I didn't think I ever would be,but I'm with Gaz here.

This is a claim I see a lot, but in fact Milner's best games for City was actually playing wide. Against Liverpool he was very good and I can't remember the other team. He was decent in the middle, but that was coz those games came on the heels of 1 or 2 poor performances on the wings. Yet he had his 2 best games playing on the wing.
I like milner he has alot more to offer than barry

I couldnt change my mind over one match. Barry did have several matches where he was class. The semi final, and such. But also had several games were he was lost both Arsenal matches I called "Barry Barry bad" He seemed totally out of sync. In several match he would back pass us out of counter attacks.

He does have a role, just not first name on the team sheet for me. He is almost our Vieria with him gone, someone we can bring on for defencive help hear end of matches or teams were we are concerned we need help getting back.. (since he never moves forward anyways lol)

"They" have nothing else to talk about so make up stories to make themselves feel better about themselves.

It would be financial suicide to let him go for nothing.

Who says that would happen? In 6 months time, playing as the main man in the centre of midfield, starting every game, Nasri might decide he wants to renew his contract.

And regards "financial suicide", how much did we pay for RSC? My point is, sometimes plans go wrong. It doesn't mean we never make mistakes. Wenger might regret holding on to Nasri for another year, but that doesn't guarantee he won't try.
Can you tell me why Arsenal are negotiating with City if Wenger plans to keep him for 12 months?

Either this is a sham, or he is not in charge

Thank fuck some one with a bit of sense, Wenger is the manager and works with his players until he is told otherwise, the board are in control of the sale of Nasri and they will decide when there happy with the fee and terms of the agreement. I would be very surprised if Nasri is even sub tomorrow let alone play, however, i think it will give us some sought of insight of how far on this deal is, depending if he takes to the field or not.

-- Sat Aug 20, 2011 3:54 am --

Is that the two Arsenal games when one game we played with ten men against probably the best passing team in the country. And the second game when every player in blue was having a stinker a part from Hart. probably not the best two games to judge him on.

I thi9k there may be some legs in the rags going for Nasri, we seem to have gazzumped them previously and they are desperate not to allow us to expose them as a bunch of classless wankers

Not a chance Nasri will join the rags. Unless they match our wage (which they won't) and convince Wenger (who hates Fergie) to sell to the rags. Samething happens with every transfer if he hasn't signed within a week fans think oh he is going here he's going there. Samir Nasri will be a City player by Sep 1st i'd put my money on it :)

There was a guy from Manchester Evening News on Talksport last night who stated Man Utd were interested in Nasri at the start of the summer but that interest has long gone and they are not in for Nasri , end of story , along with that this rumour of Arsenal wanting Tevez is also a load of claptrap as theres as much chance of Tevez going to Stoke as there is of him going to Arsenal . He said the deal would be completed this week , yes its dragging on but it will be completed . Ignore the crap being floated about at the moment .
