After his positive showing against Madrid, do you think he will start his next game in the PL?

He will play against Villa next week in the League cup if you ask me mate.

Just because he has better technique than JL doesn't make him a better defender. we dont need "proven PL players" , hughes need them.

we need to play the best players , particularly when we play "big big games"

thats why nastasic will play vs arsenal , IMO.

Will be a star. Had a better game than Kompany and it is was his debut playing against the best team in the world. After watching the match 2 minutes in, I could see he was no Savic. Confident on the ball and defended well for a young lad. Will overtake Lescott sooner rather than later.

He should of though, he is far more solid than Maicon. Maicon is a great attacking fullback, not defensively, Zabaleta rarely makes any big mistakes and lettting Ronaldo cut in on his right was one of them. Overall he should of played.

Lescott has made less mistakes than Kompany this season in my opinion and he has played Arsenal numerous times. This game is so important and I personally don't think we can afford to throw another newby in, this game is huge.

We need to keep it simple, Kompany knows Lescott and vice versa - it is a great partenrship and now is not the time against a top side to be messing around with that pairing.

Took balls of steel for Mancini to drop Lescott and bring him in last night but it paid off big time. Based on that game the signs are good.

Seemed straight forward decision to me...............
