Here's an article comparing the two. TL;DR version is that Nastasic is better (statisically) but Varane has had more standout performances (El Clasico):

Probably the two best 18/19/20yo central defenders in Europe at the moment.

Ive seen him 3 to 4 times now and Varane looks the real deal to me. Slightly different player to Nas, bit in the Lucio' mould......

Very quick and strong, good in the air... 2 top players.

Varane is player you need to see once to see he is, in worlds of 'arry, top-top player. Still young to so lot of work in front of him.

I think he's better than Nastasic but won't complain too much, Nastasic was good buy.

Nastasic is better, but Varane plays for Real Madrid and scored a goal against Barcelona once so naturally the world are falling over themselves cocks in hand.

I don't think Nasty is better. Would be difficult to say Varane is better too. That said, I think Marquinhos may well turn out to be better than both.

More than happy with Nasty though :)

Varane is more athletic, got great pace for a cb, wouldn't be a bad pairing really, Nastasic is good on the ball and good at reading the game, Varane good at covering
