Paying a player off implies an agreement so there could be no subsequent claim.Aaron Ramsey hasn’t been accused of a deplorable crime, that type of decision is as wide apart as can possibly be!
I think the Standard way to deal with it is to keep paying until convicted then terminate contract on basis they can't play due to their own issues. Assuming he gets off then it's likely we would not want him and therefore would have to pay him off via an agreement.
