If the Ake money allows us to go and get Cucurella for little to no difference then that is an upgrade imo.

If Zinchenko leaves then perhaps that money is reinvested for a CB or we go with what we have. Likelihood of 3 senior CB's being injured at any one time is low and Rodri and Phillips will be the emergency options.

…and perhaps also Mbete as backup.

Ignore em mate, last season we had 4 centre halvesand still had to play Fernandinho there, as much as Stones, Dias and Laporte are pure quality they’ve all been injured in the last 18 months and Stones especially, if we flog Ake we need another centre half ,that is for certain.

You failed to mention that Aké himself missed more games due to injuries than any of the other 3 since he joined the club. Maybe we want to get someone more reliable as 4th choice? Laporte had to play through an MCL injury in the run-in because his replacement was even less fit.
