Fuck me never seen a window like it have we ever had so many players moving on before,we may not replace him didnt we give the young lad mbete a new contract and with the EDS coach now working with the first team we may see a few more getting a chance this year ..

Let's go with the thinner squad than so far. It's like committing suicide. both those guys I'm sure would be great additions but as others have mentioned- it needs to be someone who's 'okay' with being 4th choice or we're going to run into the same issue we currently have with Ake who wants a bigger role.Atletico wants to sell Mario Hermoso who is a similar fit to Ake. But IMO Gvardiol or Lisandro Martinez would be a nice fit.

I would expect Gvardiol and Martinez would want to be starters at their new clubs, slim chance of that happening here
