Nearly 5 years on - how do you feel about the new badge?

I feel the same way about it now as i did 5 years ago.

I have absolotely no idea WTF people mean when say it is 'cartoony'. Have never been able to work this out.

And, I love the badge.

I went to the Club presentations at the media room in the training complex. It was given by Gary James and the whole reasoning around the badge was explained in great detail. I like the badge but personally would have tried to get the Bee on it somewhere.

Bloody old - where did that 5 years go to?? Every year seems to be shorter and shorter.

Back to the point - I'm currently waiting for the tattooist to open to get inked. Not had the time/money until now

I would imagine that it would to the older City fans ,when Manchester was part of Lancashire

I always find it a bit sad that Lancashire was drastically reduced, not just by the forming of Greater Manchester but moving of boundaries putting the Lake District and Barrow etc in Cumbria. Especially as I know a few Yorkshire types that think that county is largely independent from the rest of the U.K.

I was 4 when Greater Manchester was formed. The narrative I imagined was Conservative governments smiting the name Lancashire from the map, punishing it for its Labour support.

Probably all nonsense.
