Negredo

How often does Negredo play really well in a tight game and score when the game is in the balance?

Liverpool with a large portion of luck is the only one that springs to mind.

For me, he looks like a £15 million striker rather than a £25 million (Dzeko) when he plays against good opposition and we don't batter a team.

He has been poor and needs to sit, but for some reason Pellegrini keeps going to him.

I think it has become clear he is a very limited player, if he can't play off the last defender and get the ball to his left foot he is next to useless. Often times I can count the number of opportunities that he squanders because he won't even attempt to use his right foot. It must be truly weak for him to not even try in some of the sitters he could have had. Today Jovetic did more in the 30 seconds it took to injure himself than he did in 50 minutes.

Broke the deadlock against Hull at a similar stage but I get your drift.

Look for his first season he has a pass mark for me to date and if you objective you would concur.

Still has 11 games to show he can play a role in Brazil in a side that could go all the way.

Rather have him than the 50 mill flop at Chelski supporting a 32 year old on his way to the MLS or back to Russia.

i really do think he is missing Agüero as his partner and his form has suffered a lot because of this admittedly a player should not relie on another but we have all seen what these two can do when put with each other maybe a rest will do him some good as well.

Negredo can play.

I think he is suffering from his shoulder injury still.

I think when Aguero is back we will be able to let Negredo have a rest.

He can't be anywhere near 100% fit still - I think this shoulder injury must have been a lot worse than was made out and the severity has been kept a bit hush hush ...

You could count the number of times he touched the ball in the first half on one hand.

Don't buy this "he's tired" nonsense I'm afraid, simply out of form.
