Neil Young

saw neil a few weeks ago at the juve match and he did not look at all well, his brother died young from cancer and his sister in law (whom i worked with ) real tragedy - he was my first hero in sky blue , deserves the full works from the club for whatever time he has left .
 
horrible news. i hope he suffers as little pain as possible.

not looking forward to telling my old man, he will be gutted.
 
Somebody said Neil was an unsung hero. I don't think there was a bigger one than Neil Young. Good luck lad.
 
i remember with fondness nellies two goals at newcastle 68, joe and mal brought the best out of nellie, always had a smile on his face, he had one of the hardest shots in the country, they reckoned only second to lorimer?
 
Jeez, that's horrible news ! I watched him at Maine Road in the sixties . A true artist . Best wishes for a speedy recovery . God go with you and your family .

Neil Young is a legend and I wish him all the very best. I have no words which can describe how sorry I am.
 
Am speechless really. Just very very sad . Met him at a book signing in borders in the t centre, true gent warm and funny. My thoughts are with you nelly and your nearest and dearest.
