Neil Young

I think it's probably his strongest LP, Needle and the damage done is a brilliant track as is Out on the weekend and I absolutely love Words (fabulous riff) and Alabama.
A man needs a maid I can leave along with There's a world.
Old man is a classic song in my opinion.

I really like his maudlin stuff. It's hardly a commercial album in the scheme of things but it's his 'go to' one. I love it

Today's top ten:

Hey Hey My My Into the Black
Like a Hurricane
Cinnamon Girl
Southern Man
Tonight's the Night Pt 1
Downtown
Heart of Gold
The Needle and the Damage Done
F*!#in' Up
Love and Only Love
What this thread has made me think of when you go and see an artist that you love but you go away slightly disappointed if they don't play that song - he would have to be on stage for about 4 hours to remotely satisfy the masses........... :-)

He does have some catalogue and he likes to extend a song live so there's bound to be something you'd like to have heard.

Whenever I hear one of his songs I always wonder how I ended up in an elevator of a shopping mall, like good music people always take the stairs.
