Was at his memorial today. People of all colours and creeds uniting in song and dance. Zulu, Xhosa, Afrikaans and English speakers all singing songs together. Blacks and whites.

All peaceful..

This truth will sadly disapoint some posters on here..

Struggling to hold back the tears here, any photo's Tarquin?

We will never all agree on this because he was a person who used violence to achieve his goals, violence by planting bombs in shopping centres against his own people, and then in later life he turned into a figurehead statesman.

He was married to an evil woman who murdered many of Mandela's opponents whilst he was incarcerated, by putting a truck tyre over them trapping their arms, filling it with petrol and lighting it. She also murdered children.

She never answered for these crimes and never was truly condemned by Mandela, because throughout his life he refused to renounced violence.

His ANC was financed by the communist regime. Mandela was friends with colonel Gadaffi, so much so he named his grandson Gadaffi.

Mandela was vocally anti-Semitic, accusing Israel of terrorism and murdering Arabs.

He hated the USA and accused them of being responsible for more atrocities than any other country.

So there will be a lot of people who dont like him, and it is unfair to force the views of those who admire him on those who don't. He is contentious.

This is why it it's wrong to hold a minutes silence at football matches this weekend. It will offend too many people.

I like him even more. The truth doesn't pay in this Orwellian age of double speak.

Why would that disappoint people Josh? I can't abide the faux mourning but I won't have a pop at someone for feeling that way, just as I expect others to respect others are entitled to an opinion.

Was just putting it out there, for enlightenment of the way he thought and who his allies were. A lot of sycophantic political hypocrisy going on right now.
