Here we go again, nobody is allowed to voice their opinions unless it suits the mourners.
Nice of you to label me, perhaps you'd like to go through my posts on this thread and find where I am a 'knuckle dragger'.
Some people :o)

Indeed. However, having read through, for example, Blue Underpants' contributions to this debate, I am of the opinion that his opinion isn't worth a fig. However, nowhere do I state that he is not entitled to his opinions, so what exactly are you bellyaching about?
Why are YOU bellyaching at my neutral post? Agenda much?

-- Sat Dec 07, 2013 12:37 am --

Perhaps in the dark days of South Africa where you have no rights, no freedom and you are valued no higher than a dog then perhaps you live by a completely different set of rules. What do you do in a place where you are killed because of the colour of your skin, your women raped, your children beaten ? What do you do when nobody cares ? Who do you tell ? If I had to fight for my family against tyrany then I could honestly say regardless of my morals and values I WOULD kill. I'd say walk a day in that mans shoes and then judge his life. I bet he wishes things could have been different but that would have involved fairness and equality, something many have died for.
RIP Mandela
But by doing what a "normal" person would do, you cease to be extraordinary. Sanctioning the murder of innocent women and children makes you no better than those you oppose, which is why do many people are annoyed that his "legacy" doesn't represent the man he was.
Martin Luther King practiced loving his enemies, and began to win his war through words.
The Taliban feel the same way about their war as Mandela felt about his.
Indeed.
