Portuguese clubs rape the shit out of Russian clubs with transfer fees I don't know how they still allow themselves to get bullied in every market by them it's incredible..I know they have money to burn but where is the business sense in these Russian clubs?BigOscar said:

The Russian clubs overpay on purpose. They know that they cannot compete with "proper" european clubs on fair terms with a player, so they offer a transfer fee that prices out the competition, leaving the player with only the choice to stay in Portugal (on relative peanuts) or go to Russia. Has apparently told Benfica he wants to go bck to Chelsea.
Nothing from the Portuguese papers or journalists saying anything like that, they all seem pretty certain that he's staying put until the summer unless someone meets his release clause and takes it out of their hands. Very much doubt Matic would be making a statement like that in between the death and ceremonies of Eusebio and O Clássico tomorrow as well tbh. I'd expect more news from Benfica/Porto after Sunday, but until the game I can't imagine they are concentrating too much on the transfer window
