Trippier definitely wasn't excellent in the first half. Hard to judge Shaw on that as Netherlands made great adjustments that completely stifled our play.

Example number one billion that armchair coaches have no idea. Everyone and their mother was screaming for Trippier to be dropped for Shaw, and it didn't have nearly the effect that everyone thought it would. In fact, it made the team worse. TBF, he hasn't played in ages due to injury, but still.
