Koeman made the switches at HT to have more players in the middle, closing the gaps between their attack & midfield - that's what gave them momentum in the second half and we didn't became imbalanced due to adding a left footer on the left flank. Shaw in the final rather than Trippier makes much more sense against Yamal.

Mate, sometimes it's just best to accept that we did play well overall. Sure there was some areas we could have improved on, but we were the better team and imo deserved to win. You can only beat what your up against. The next game will be harder. But who knows, we have a chance.

I am being 100% honest. That second half shouldn't have exisited. England were in control up until the first half time change against a poor Netherlands midfield. They responded (albeit fortuitiously) well to the opening goal.
