God, this happens every year.

A shirt gets leaked:
"Looks shit, why can't they make the ones like in the 70s?"
"Why can't we have our old badge back?"
"WE'RE SUPPOSED TO HAVE WHITE SHORTS!"
"Actually we had blue shorts in the 80s"

Shirt comes out:
"Still looks shit, why can't they make the ones like in the 70s?"
"Why is there a shield around the badge?"
"WE'RE SUPPOSED TO HAVE WHITE SHORTS!"
"Where's the white trim? Don't like it"

December:
"I love it, it's awesome. Getting it for Christmas."

It's sky blue and has City's badge on it. Don't care about anything else.

Like many others I thinks this looks better once we've got this official image of Zabba to put it on.

Probably will sell well internationally, and that is really what it is all about anymore. I'll choose to look at the glass half full on that, as it is more revenue. Even though I would always rather see our traditional colours in play. (And this would be fantastic looking if you just subbed white in for the blue on the shorts.)

It just looks like we're stepping out for a fucking away match wearing blue shorts.
If people think others are getting precious about it fair enough, I think you should actually care more, but I for one will be writing to Nike about it. Are they trying to evoke memories of the title winning season 3 years ago? We just won it! Makes no sense at all.
The rest of the design is fine imo, I appreciate it can't be the 2009/10 kit each year even though personally white trim with collars would be heaven !

Let us all know where writing to Nike gets you.

I like the blue shorts, we had them before a few times, just don't like the the dark blue, swap that for white and you have a nice kit.

The whole replica shirt thing is harmless I suppose, but the old simple shirts look ten times as classy.

Lots of things in football have got better. Shirts are not one of them.
