The design of the kit its ok. I quite like it, but blue shorts just doesn't look like us.
In fact if you remove all the logos and ask a fan of any other english club, which english club wears blue shirts, shorts and socks, I'm sure nine out of ten would say coventry! Change the shorts to white and the strip immediately becomes identifiable as manchester city.

It's the team's I.D. that is the issue, not what fans of varying shapes and sizes look like in it in the stands!

Some precious people on here this morning

I think the kit looks nice, may or may not buy it but tbh I didn't even notice the lack of white

Pretty sure the blue is the most important thing

Ffs, it's a football kit. We're not at Paris fashion week and you lot aren't Gok fucking Wanker.

Don't get confused between those who are overly bothered about the shirt design, badge shield, collar etc and those that are rightly appalled by Manchester City taking the field with blue shorts and not a smidgen of white anywhere.

I can't ever remember Nike giving the rags red shorts, or whoever giving Liverpool white shorts, or Arsenal red shorts.

Some traditions are sacrosanct...but apparently City are ok to meddle with time after time.

Exactly.

Blue and WHITE army

Well I like it.
The shirt and socks look really nice on that picture, but we should have white shorts or at the very least white trim on the kit.

"Blue and white they go together we will carry on forever more"

Agreed. with blue shorts it would be close to perfection. Not too bad with the all sky blue look but would be brilliant with bit more white in the kit. Overall, Simple, stylish design. and I like it.

At the end of the day, its a football kit. You either buy it or you don't.
Im a city fan and will wear any shirt that has my club badge on it and wear it with pride, and support my team.
I understand we all have opinions, but theres not a football kit in the world that every single person will agree on.
Could be worse it could be a warrior kit :)

Lets not argue amongst ourselves, discuss yes! but not argue over a kit, that you will probably buy in the end anyway :)

We've had blue shorts before on many occasions
