new kit '14-'15

Our home shirt usually has a simple design, nothing crazy and over the top.

My issue with this shirt is not the design but the color. It is almost purple, it is just hideous.

It does not need to be crazy or over the top to be interesting and inventive. This is too derivative of our first nike shirt and their current templates, which is why it is disappointing. I also buy shirts when I simply like them and have several from the 90s and naughts that perhaps other fans were not fond of, so it is all taste in the end.
Cracking kit that, light blue and white, leave the dark blue socks in the dark past,
The colour is likely distorted in the photo, though. At least, I hope so, for our sake.

I'm 100% sure that it the same color from last season (2012/13).

That is going to be truly awful. I hated the Barça shirts (saw enough of them when Zaragoza was relegated).

When did creating a sky blue and white shirt get so forking difficult?!

We should keep the same colors and simply change certain design aspects....trim, styling, collar and cuffs, etc... to create signature elements for each season. Getting tired of all the gimmickry....which is why I STILL wear the 2009 classic CITY shirt Tevez is wearing in that pic above. ONLY wear it for games and keep it in great shape. Cold wash, no tumble dry. Looks like new, but I'm ready for an update .... with gold badges on the sleeves!

Not sure how you managed it. I never wore it to play (unlike my other shirts), always washed gentle and air-dried, and made sure not to spill anything on it at the pub. It still began to pill after about a month and faded a bit since then. It looks pretty decrepit now. This in contrast to my 03-04 away shirt that I could likely sell on eBay as "like new" right now.

Has anyone seen the new Peru umbro shirt fuckin mint old school umbro badge and they have added the umbro lettering under the diamond in old school lowercase lettering,Also I've heard Everton might get the umbro diamonds running down their sleeves on their new umbro kit,Fuck off nike bring back UMBRO!!!!!!!!!!!

they went dark purely for advertising puproses, as the sponsors wasnt easy to make out with the colour of the shirts at a certain distance. it would have to be a darker sky blue (if thats feasible) or the lazer blue shirt to make the advertisers happy..

but you never know

I know they're jackboot-sporting neo thugs, but I wish we had the same kits as Lazio's, they're just superb...

On a side note, I reckon Macron's kits by and large are fantastic anyway; simple, clean and elegant.

No doubt! I hate Nazio and almost feel bad for liking their kits as much as I always do.

They really looked good last year with white numbers - I'd like to see us go back to that (last year we had it was I think the FA Cup season).

Only some Lazio fans are like that. Loads aren't. I'm mates with a Roman Lazio fan who is sound as a pound.

Saying Lazio fans are all right-wing is like saying all City fans are "Munich" singing arseholes.
