to be fair after watching the highlights the kit actually looks stunning!! fair play to nike, although the shield will always cause controversy, the kit itself looks great!

The kit I actually really quite like, regardless of shield. The shorts and functional and I have no problem with. The socks, so long as they are not garish, are always so basic and regular that I'm not really sure how anyone can have an opinion on them either way. How can a sock be beautiful? Similarly, how can it be horrible? It's...a sock. Socks are "meh" and always will be to me.

The shorts for the actual kit have a blue shield around the badge too. I reckon thy forgot to pack the right shorts and socks for the US tour!

the socks on the title winning team, were white with blue hoops,but in the shop the ones for sale were blue with white hoops.if that makes any sense.

This is the proper City blue. Been used to a washed out Coventry shade in recent years.
