Never been so gutted at missing a player. Been banging the drum for him for ages and he’s already doing well at Chelsea. Pleased we identified him and tried though.

Agree. Midfield is a big issue, but again loads on here don’t acknowledge Rodri’s lack of pace / inability to get close enough to players to tackle / foul on the counter as a big problem. But Aguero a few years ago or Tevez would at least give us a punchers chance in these big games. But without a special January window the big games will play out like this the majority of the time, as they did last season.

Tbf rodri isnt the problem put a player with pace alongside him and the midfield will be sorted.

Both strikers are fit now so not necessary. But in a crisis needs must.
