Where are all the clowns who were piping up a few months ago and thought we could challenge for this league without a new striker? Of course we have other issues, like Rodri, but for the first time in a decade we are COMPLETELY toothless without peak Sergio Aguero / Carlos Tevez. We need to sort a lot of areas, but will not get near the title without a world class centre forward. You could argue we didn’t create *that* much today, but the point is Aguero in his pomp or Tevez could make something from nothing themselves and would be a huge threat every game. We’ve got nothing to offer in attack now.

Our problem is we are not ruthless behind the scenes I mean if a lot on here had there way everyone who won the centurion season would have contracts for life even though there form is shocking . Take bielsa and Jose for instance who would drag someone off after 20 mins if it wasn’t happening something we don’t do .,if we carry on relying on sentiment then it will end up in disaster.
