Both Kane and Haaland will cost well beyond £100m. Not the kind of transfer we do.

Nunez from Benfica is the most likely, as he will cost around £60m.

There must come a time when to remain in with a serious chance of more titles and the CL we have to pay the going rate for the best available and not fuck about trying to make a mid range striker into someone good enough to replace Aguero.

Our lack of goals, meek title defence last season and poor CL exits coupled with Aguero's age and injuries mean there has never been a better time or more pressing need to buy the absolute best.

Look where we've ended up now through bottling proper transfers. One or two is ok when we had world class players around, but we've lost a litany of legends to age and Aguero will be next. We cannot keep thinking settling for a £60m player is good enough or we'll be battling for 4th every season.

Haaland is needed, no matter what he costs. Otherwise what was the point of all that CAS lawsuit, and Khaldoon's end of season rhetoric about wanting to be the best.

It's definitely time to go balls out and slap what we are working with on the table. We keep giving just the tip and hope that can do the job. Let's give it everything in Jan and buy haaland. The scousers faces would be immense. Their arse will drop and heir klopp will lose his shit.

Then next summer let's fix our long term issues. Central defense is solid. Rb is solid. New lb required. New cdm is required to compliment rodri or start in matches where more speed is required. Haaland, Jesus & delap. Wow for several years could be best group of strikers. We need a new top draw speed merchant left footed winger, markets a bit scarce at the min but mahrez ain't doing it.

Sell mahrez, gundo, zinchenko & garcia possibly even bernado if we can get an aouar type player and fill the squad with youth. Delap, doyle, palmer, nmecha, thb, etc all can do a job but gain experience doing it. Who knows we might find a gem who suits 1st team football better than loans or reserves like kane.

CAS victory is important on the basis of being able to continue to get CL income, not to make £100m transfers.

The evidence suggests we won't sign Haaland or Kane. If we do, then its a huge outlier.

I think people need to realise that by losing Kun, we lose our biggest star and most marketable player. Aguero is box office and we can't cut corners in replacing him both in footballing terms and in commercial terms.

We will not sign haaland kane because we don’t pay £100 million on transfers but we will probably go for Darwin Nunez for £60 mill and hope he makes it at the top which he may well do.

Think we would for the right striker. Don’t think Kane would go for anything near 100 mill, nearer double, if he goes anywhere at all. Not sure of the ins and outs of Haalands clauses, seen £60 mill mentioned, if thats right he goes wherever he wants to go, which according to reports is Spain, they may not be true though.
