When you say even less clinical than Jesus, you mean less clinical than one of the best mins to goals ratios in PL history, despite not taking many pens? That is a useless stat to be fair when looking at a striker. Trying to claim that he is clinical because he has a good minutes to goals ratio is not the way to go. Any half decent striker/forward could score in our current set-up.

His actual chance conversion rate is not 'top' level - sure Jesus contributes a lot to the team overall but actually taking chances is clearly his downfall.

We are lucky that in most games we usually create an obscene number of chances to allow our forwards to flourish despite unfortunately wasting a high percentage of chances (apart from Aguero). Unfortunately this becomes a big issue in the more important 'BIG' games, as demonstrated in the wasted chances in the Champions League for example.

How is goals per min a useless stat? What is useless is picking individual misses out for individual strikers, they all do it. Christ there’s some idiots in this forum

Certainly need one preferably two , Kuns last year ( probably spend most of it in the stands or at home ).

Liverpool effectively play with 3 each game and it stands them well.

The current squad has no chance of a title this season particularly the way we ship in goals now ( no clean sheets in 3 games is a real worry above all ).

Early days but I strongly suspect with our injury record amongst other things , eg manager not committing our run in the Chumps League run will come to an end.

You cannot sign one when two of yours come back in a month. No top striker would join not that many are available anyway. If a striker agrees then he probably isn't top tier anyway who will just eat into Non HG spot

Sounds mad but I genuinely think Danny Ings would be a good buy. HG and in great form. Works his tripe off and can finish.
