Don't know if he is any good but we should sign this dutch lad just for his name alone
What a shirt seller, imagine in the City shop, can I have Jizz on the back of my shirt please?

He has missed chances in his time that one against Sheffield wasn’t a miss it was a very good save, and Jesus did everything right. One if Ederson made we’d be praising not saying the forward had missed. But yes we need to replace Aguero. Not sure what happens if Aguero stays another year though.I still believe that we do need a new striker once Kun goes...not one to replace Jesus but one to play alongside hi/as part of a front 3......without Kun, none of our front 3 are particulaly good finishers (Sterling, Jesus, Mahrez).....Maybe Torres is but he is a bit of an unknown at present .
the chance that jesus missed near the end of the game vs sheffield shows his weaknesses (again). Pundits were saying it was a great save but from that position a top class finished doesnt give the keeper the chance to make that save. Gabby is a fox in the box and is very good at it but w need more than that.
you'll be in a bidding war with RobL250 if you're not careful! What a shirt seller, imagine in the City shop, can I have Jizz on the back of my shirt please?
Micah of all people write a BBC article saying we should go for him, which seemed to completely misunderstand everything City have done for the last decade. Journalists will ask a question and have something to report if the answer is no.I believe it was mentioned a few weeks back when Athletico ended his contract and the media talked about cover for city in that position, the city beat journalists shot the rumour down then and I think they're doing it now to oppose lazy deadline day journalism
How many goals have those 4 attacking players scored between them this season? You're right, we are top of the league, at the moment, and look in good form. For that reason, I'd say we possibly do not need a short term loan or free transfer until the end of the season. However, looking further ahead, we surely need a long term striker sooner rather than later.torres sterling mahrez jesus that what pep has had to work with for most of the season and we are top of the league
crazy to think if aguero could stay fit or we signed a top draw striker last summer what damage this squad could really do
would love a short term loan or free transfer striker ? but he would have to fit the style of play and not the other way round because at this stage of the season you don't go changing it just to suit a striker. the false 9 or the rotating the 3 wide players or even playing phil foden upfront works. its pep choice and if it works then he's right and all the moaning we do is just silly ? because we win silverware and titles

I know people like to put their fingers in their ears at the mention of Aguero leaving, and I am aware that Jesus 'works hard' but surely to god we need a natural finisher that can instinctively finish chances!
Big risk city not bringing in a striker even if on loan. Aguero will take weeks to get match fit & may get injured again, we can not rely on Jesus & sterling is far from his best.
We are probably in one of the best positions to win the league, cups & champs league. But all of this could be in jeopardy without a striker to offer something different. We are relying on foden & gundy scoring at the minute.
As it stands city have one fit striker & I would class Jesus as a winger not even a striker.
Agree with that too. Tricky for the clubi truly understand your point ? but who is willing to sell at this time of year defo not the top clubs
also bring in somebody now can upset the apple cart and the need to fit him in may change the training setup or style yes last summer was the right time. but city put all the eggs into the messi basket and he bottled it
so this summer coming. city have to go and get every target pep set out for the city group to sign
forget the money or price they will cost ? because city are the only club in europe that has money burning in their pockets and selling clubs will need to balance there books
Interesting what Pep is saying in this article in the MUEN:

Guardiola admits title rivals have a key quality that Man City lack
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola expects his side will have to win trophies in an unconventional way given their issues this seasonwww.manchestereveningnews.co.uk
Basically that we have no striker that is reliable at present due to Kuns absence (Gabriel's numbers are not good) and that normally when you are challenging for the top of the league you have one or two top strikers with lots of goals. He goes on how that this is so important in tight games against other good teams but at the moment we are havng to rely on lots of the midfielders to score goals.
Hopefully this is signalling that we will go for a striker in the transfer window. Ive said all along that GJ isnt that striker ...he is part of a front 3 and a very good part but he isnt the one to be relied upon in the tight moments like Aguero can be.
Ive said int he Aguero thread that I believe he is being phased out and Im still feeling that way...if this season isnt his last next definitely i and I believe we will have to get his replacement in before he goes
I agree, but then I never thought otherwise. It seems obvious, and the club aren't stupid, so the question is more who not whether we will.Interesting what Pep is saying in this article in the MUEN:

I wouldn’t be convinced on Son and at 29 he’s not a long term successor to Aguero. As you say it has to be the best, so I’m hoping we steer miles clear of Nunez at Benfica.I’m glad it shows the club recognise we need a striker. There’s no-one really available until summer so I can understand why we didn’t bother in January, but we must get the very best we can this summer, I’m hoping Haaland, seeing as Mbappe isn’t interested and Kane is as injury prone as Aguero. There isn’t anyone else good enough, except Son maybe.
Not sure our exercise in the finances surrounding Messi was us actually after Messi the player, more a case of ` Striker wanted only the best need apply`i truly understand your point ? but who is willing to sell at this time of year defo not the top clubs
