If you can get a G3 the picture is even better with MLA technology, the C/G4 is due out next year depending on how long you can wait then there will be some good deals on, I got a 77 inch for just over £2k last years model which was £4k 18 months ago!
The 65 inch is £200 cheaper in john Lewis and you can get a half price sound bar . It depends on which company you also want to deal with . I got the 55 inch from currys about 2 years ago for about £1500 with a free £800 sound bar. I wish I had bought the 65 inch and have now replaced it with a 65 inch 8k ready samsung. The LG is in the daughters bedroom and I still think the picture is better than the samsung. I've found it's all about timing when buying these products. I got a free £1200 phone when I bought the Samsung and that's what swung the deal .

Yeah it looks like they have changed the deal in the last 24 hours. That's possibly because the soundbar which was in the package is also not available to purchase. They come and go these deals quite regularly. I would definitely play a waiting game if I was you and shop around. I missed a deal once with John Lewis and ticked the notify me when back in stock box and they sent me a message about 4 weeks later . When I reminice to how much a 65inch OLED cost in 2017 it makes me shudder, its a great time to buy a new TV.
