Basically I was complimenting them on the signing and one cockwomble told me it was a snide backhanded compliment.

It was a ludicrous comment though. In what world is David Villla, who just started the Champions League final, only fit to be 3-4 choice on "most" English teams. Jesus Christ.

It reminds me of Aldridge going to Tranmere after doing excellent at Real S. Would prefer Villa to Welbeck, any Arsenal, Spurs or Chelsea forward - and he would get starts at City and Liverpool.

David Villa would be the best striker at chelsea or arsenal if they signed him. I'm going to sign up to that site to tell them that blue smarties is a **** :)

i think this is part of the holistic approach to the brand "Manchester City" They are a part of the brand just like the ladies, the EDS, the youth squads etc. cant see any reason why why we wouldnt be interested in how NYCFC are doing. We need to realise that there is more than the first team to the Manchester City concept.

Weirdly I looked at the NYCFC website a few days ago. Fancied a t-shirt or hoodie or something and strangely they don't have them on the city site. Soon put off at $80 postage.
