Mendy is a fucking joke

Gundagun gives us nothing in defence, Ederson just doesnt save anything & who is going to score us 25 goals when Aguero leaves???
Surely we have to play Dino in CM & now please give Foden a chance Dave has ran his course it's over.
3 at the back today it had to be

Sterling needs to be down the middle & Jesus just get him sold he ain't banning in 12 goals never mind 25

Mendy needs to be cut some slack after the injuries he has had. He looks less mobile to me and less sure of his body. Real shame for us but a bigger shame for Mendy himself.

Only time will tell if he can return to his previous levels. I always had doubts about him defensively but he looks really unsure going forward also, but again we have never had chance to see the ‘real’ Mendy. Must be terrible for the lad.

fucking hell matey from 12.30 this morning up to now you have turned into a nutter ?? football is a game some you win, some you lose, some you draw, and if your sell players because they don't win a football game even sheikh mansour are not deep enough
 
Anyone who thinks Jesus us for to even lace Agueros boots knows nothing about football I'm afraid. He is average at best and no leader of a line. Sterling is also so disappointing for a supposedly world.class player. If he tried half as hard as KDB he would drag us over the line in game s like this.

you are right about the two shots on two goals.....its however nothing to do with the standard of goalkeeping 99% of the time. Its because of the system we play (and its one of the weaknesses that when teams break on us we are wide open hence Peps comments about needing defenders who can defend one on one which we dont have at present - especially Mendy and Stones) and also our ability to retain useful (not meaningless) possession has lessened....our enery to press aint there either

All of this is the reason for the two shots and two goals - the chaces that we give up/teams create against us are easy ones and no keeper most of the time is stopping them
 
Remember when we had a CB partnership of Kompany and Laporte at the end of last season.

Ah those were the days.

Mendy needs a stern talking to and a change of mentality ASAP. He really needs extra work in training ground on fitness, passing and crossing...he needs more work on crossing as he was shit today. the only passes completed were nearly all sideways and backward passes....it s not good enough. if he gets one cross in a game ,or at least one chance to cross,it has to be top class or it is simply not good enough. i love mendy but he was shambolic today and the fans deserve more, he should just knuckle down for the next 6 weeks.
