Hmmm....some very good and some pretty poor performances there.
Gundo was awful and cost us a 2nd goal at 1-0.
Ederson.....here's the deal...one of the biggest divers in the PL is coming towards you and guess what, he's going to come in close and then make it look like he's been clipped so he falls over and gets a pen. What do you not want your GK to do....go to ground and get too close to him to give him that opportunity...stay on your feet and try and force him wide....don't dive at him and allow him to fall over... Made the same costly mistake at Anfield last season with Nunez. Makes so many bad decisions when it comes to 50/50's...is there another player in our side who makes so many wrong decisions and mistakes so regularly and yet his place is never in doubt?
Great 1st half from Grealish and Walker but both faded 2nd half, Walker sleeping with the offside line for the pen build up (quelle surprise)
Phil looked sharper when he came on...Savinho caused them problems (Doku did not)
Gvardiol was excellent, as were Akanji and Dias.
Not much creativity from those in central midfield....Rico looked a bit lost at times but worked his socks off as usual
7 points from 9 from away games at Chelsea, WHU and Newcastle is actually pretty decent and I'd have taken that at outset.
Hopefully no injuries and we move on, looked like we might have nicked it at the end as well which was a good sign.
 
Newcastle were there for the taking but in the end a point was probably a fair result given our performance.

I feel like this Season we are like a Lottery winner with a fortune in the bank but we're trying to get 4 cups of tea out of one teabag.
 
We need to give Savio the RW spot and give him a real run of games. Let’s see what momentum he can build.
 
Will take a draw, looks like they set out to test us and the ref physically but thankfully got a yellow early on which dissuaded them.

We're clearly not up to speed but more concerning is that Barcelona seem to have done the old switch-a-roo with Ilkay and some random passer by.

Funniest bit of the match, after Tonali goes down rather easily clutching his face because Grealish's elbow brushed his tummy, and Ally McCoist called him Sandra Tonali!
 
Two points thrown away against a truly shit team. Wake up boys he’s not playing again this season, you need to show some balls and fucking play .

Why are you deflecting? Thats not what I said.
Kyle Walker is our players captain.
For the second time in as many games in the PL he has cost us goals for his poor defending ability.
Not for creating chances or helping scoring goals for the team.
I don’t want to be here criticising him but there is something about his game at the moment and it’s costing the team goals and it needs fixing.
It’s like his head just turns off in moments or he still thinks he has that extra edge on players so he gives them too much room and I personally think that extra yard has gone.

So you force me to assume you dont watch our all games. Do not mistake good games and games with numbers. Doku has plenty good to very good games for us
