I think there there is a thread on him somewhere on here…Who up top thought letting Palmer go was a good idea ?.
Was odd, Gundo had two or three options including just pumping it at an empty net but he literally waited until Pope was back. Worst game I've seen from Gundo, early days though.Pep will be fucked off with the decision making from Gundo to make it 2-0. Away from home you are always going to suffer with only a goal advantage. That would have killed the game and allowed us to manage it a lot better, potentially winning comfortably.
Instead we fail to take advantage and it costs us ultimately. You don't get many gifts at this level, but that opportunity from Pope had to be punished. Haaland was the ball all day long and Gundo will know it. I'm sure Pep will be telling him.
However, a point is okay. Nothing to panic about. One of the toughest games of the season without two key players. Not a disaster.
Wow motd , was that high lights of the game ?
Personally thought we were slightly the better team today without really creating much. But watching motd you would of thought we were lucky to get a draw.
Funnily I watch the match via a link on my firestick, the one that had Shearer and Shay Given has analysts. So I hear Shearer say , he didn't think it was a pen ,
"Gordon poor touch, over hit the ball , then kicked his right foot out to make contact"
But noticed all three pundits on motd, "thought it a penalty" !
We have played Chelsea (away, currently 4th), Arsenal (home, 3rd) and Newcastle (away, 7th) in the first six games and are right up there. Everyone relax.
He should have been invited to review his decision was what I meant to say. They have camera views where they can see an obvious mistake has been made but they let the decision stand because because it wasn't clear and obvious to the ref on the pitch. We have a situation where the last three goals against us should have possibly been disallowed and it's making a farce of the game, not just for City, but every other club when this nonsense happens. But that's weird, they don't have to overturn his decision. In fact, they can't. They can invite him to come to the monitor. He can stand by his original decision, if he's not convinced. That can never be repeated often enough.
let it go....Who up top thought letting Palmer go was a good idea ?.
Thank you. I like to make people laugh. It is from my alternative to swear words list, throttlebottom means a bumbling, inept person in public office. :-)throttlebottom whooperoops ???
I have no idea what that means but its made me laugh :D
Like I said mate , it was Shearer (with his Newcastle links) that said he didn't think it was a penalty. Got the feeling last night that , motd/Lineker were out to nip any idea of being questionable in the bud.It was a penalty, as much as it sucks to be at the end of such decision, it is what it is, on the bright side we're still unbeaten and on course to make it 5 in a row
Let's get it right does palmer get in our first 11? I don't think he does and that's the reason he left. He was given the option to stay but he wouldn't be first choice he would have to earn it. He didn't fancy the challenge.Who up top thought letting Palmer go was a good idea ?.
On current form he absolutely does get in our first 11.Let's get it right does palmer get in our first 11? I don't think he does and that's the reason he left. He was given the option to stay but he wouldn't be first choice he would have to earn it. He didn't fancy the challenge.

One Jonny Boy goal does not a good set piece system make. You are completely missing the point we are dire at set pieces, especially corners. That will probably be the only time we score from a corner all season. Compare that to Arse, Dips etc. It's simply not good enough for the amount of corners we win.Errr..didn't Stones score a crucial one just the other day v the Arse?
Does my head in that he was allowed to go. Scored v Seville ( super cup) and Arse ( Charity shield). Just a waste of a talent. And to my knowledge he hasn't missed a penalty yet either....On current form he absolutely does get in our first 11.
Yeah, people who says Palmer should stay has evident trouble with relating decision to the time of decision. Its great that Palmer doing great and its a benefit for our acadamy. Palmer at the moment of decision been behind Foden, Doku, KDB with Bobb slowly coming up and basically no numbers. My Chelsea mate reckons he’s the best in the world but fails to notice teams with play with 11 behind the ball against us. They were saying it about Grealish when he had the freedom of Villa.
Attwell has form for doing us over. I refer you to the Brighton game in May 2021. Fortunately we had won the PL by then, but ye gods he was well dodgy that night. I groan every time he is near one of our games, and in my opinion he's on a par with OliVAR and Alty Taylor in his clear anti City betting masters bias.Blatant dive and typical PiGMOL suspectful officiating, and the resident wet fannies and flappers are slagging off our team. Cunts.
In Pep I trust.
