I'm starting to think the same. Might be a stronger team than we expected, as we do have a very winnable game at the weekend.

Probably similar to Wigan with a strong bench.

Hopefully we won't need to rely on the bench.

If you keep one or two of their midfielders quiet e.g Cabaye and Ben Arfa as Sunderland did on Sunday and Newcastle pose little threat to most sides least of all City.

We will have to be well off our game tonight to lose this one no matter who we put out.

I don't know about that mate. I think a full strength, or near full strength Newcastle side will be hard work for a strong fringe team like we had against Wigan. If they rest their best players I'd call it a different story of course.

Based on our away form so far DD its just a matter of us being smarter and more compact and organised when we don't have the ball that will matter in the end.

Our back four did this quite well against Wigan and I cannot see any reason why the same scenario cannot be created away from home against a bottom mid table side like Newcastle even on their own patch.

Yeah, we were impressive v Wigan but we are never th same team without silva. Maybe I'm just getting paranoid but I hope they drop a load

Krul; Debuchy, Williamson, Yanga-Mbiwa, Haidara; Sissoko, Tiote (c), Anita, Gouffran; Shola Ameobi, Cisse.

No Ben Arfa

Isn't that virtually full strength?
Remy, cabaye, Ben arfa are the obvious ones missing but yeah the rest are first team i think

No Ben Arfa

That's probably 4 first team starters assuming all were on top of their game.

Its a lot weaker than I expected.
