No mention of this in his press conference. Are we expecting Pep to announce today in his presser who the new captain is?

They're waiting for Messi obviously.Bit odd that there’s been no announcement regarding this.
The players vote and I'm pretty much positive they'll just keep the same hierarchy we've had in previous seasons - Fernandinho, KDB, Aguero, in that order. In the past we've had 4 or 5 captains so it'll be interesting to see if Sterling for example is made one of the official captains.I'd be surprised if Pep did away with the Spanish system of handing it down based on experience/to established deputies.
Dinho for me with KDB as deputy, maybe Kun or Kyle as third?
It’s FernSurely it’ll be Kev, fucking pointless giving it Dinho as he isn‘t a first choice player any more.
2nd a year in a row our captain's been someone who's (most likely) in their last year of the club. Dont like this decision at all and based on the results dont really like the players picking the captain, they just seem to vote for the most senior player rather than the most natural leader. 3 captains in 3 years is dumb and its stopping anyone growing into the role over time.
Fernandinho is as much of a natural leader as anyone in that dressing room, I really don’t understand questioning his leadership abilities lol if there’s anything to complain about it’s the fact that he probably won’t start too many games (I personally don’t think that matters though)2nd a year in a row our captain's been someone who's (most likely) in their last year of the club.
