Next Captain

Think your sel;ecting Joe due to last nights performance. Not sure Joe is the right man as it must be difficult for a keeper to also be captain.

Vinnie is the best of a bad bunch IMO though.
 
Personally, I think Joe is a good shout.

Not that it's an official blueprint as such, but if you look at the top teams around Europe - Chelsea, Man United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich et al - all their respective captains are from their home nation.
 
I would only take it from Vinny if he agreed it was in the clubs and his best interest. Form is temporary class is permanent. Vinny will be back.

Arsenals captain is Spanish, Vice captain German, 3rd captain Spanish
