Next England Manager...

Am I being cynical or are they grooming Beckham for the job by taking him so they can say he's had some WC coaching experience?

Can't think of any other reason for him to be there.

Redknapp's just been on talksport. Says he'd take the job were it offered.

Hope this happens, english players seem to respect him and hopefully it would fuck spurs up a bit at the same time.

Are we all agreed that it needs to be an Englishman? Someone who can instil into the players a sense of pride and honour in representing their country, and someone who will take a defeat as badly as Ian Wright or Gary Lineker?

The only thing that worries me about Redknapp is would he have the balls to drop the so called superstars eg Lampard, Terry, Rooney?

Well there is an out of work, respected, young manager with successful international experience, responsible for changing the mentality of a struggling national team with an outgoing generation. Intelligent, articulate, fluent English speaker with knowledge, experience and respect for the English game...

Anyone?

Unfortunately, draws lead to penalties in international football. We'd be fooked.
