For some reason I can see Conte being more adaptable than Simeone. This is based on nothing!
Not a chance in hell Conti will be a city manager because his main thought is stopping a team first.

You need to understand the culture at Barcelona and there are a few books to get some insight. They promote their own, look at who is there right now. Txiki had played with Pep and allowed him into the Barcelona B and promoted him to the first team. Look at who followed him. Vilanova also from La Masia and Pep’s assistent. Luis Enrique played for Barcelona and managed Barcelona B as well. Ernesto Valverde played for Barcelona. Koeman played for Barcelona. Xavi played for Barcelona. This isn’t the Txiki way, it’s the Barcelona way. We are not that. I see absolutely no reason to appoint Vieira. Someone may give him a chance at a higher level but I doubt it will be us. We will pick someone based on style but also on experience and success. It could be Vieira at some point but he won’t come from Palace to us straight awayTxiki was instumental in appointing Pep when he had not managed at first team level anywhere. So whilst I doubt we will go with someone as unproven as say Vieira currently is, you cannot rule it out. Also, City slected Paddy to groom for a management.
Yes I just wonder if he really is a one trick pony faced with different types of players to work with. Perhaps wishful thinking. Not a chance in hell Conti will be a city manager because his main thought is stopping a team first.
Luis Enrique is at Spain and we don’t know if he’s willing to leave that job after the WC. If Pep were to not extend, I would rather go after Hansi Flick if we’re to enter into national teams territory. His style suits us and we wouldn’t be trapped into repeating Pep without him around. His work at Bayern did not ignore the legacy Pep left there. A much better option than Enrique for meYes I just wonder if he really is a one trick pony faced with different types of players to work with. Perhaps wishful thinking.
There doesn’t seem to be many experienced CL level Managers that play our style.
In 2024 Germany hosts the Euros... - I guess I do not have to say more than that. I doubt that Flick would take over a club if he was successful (or atleast does not fail) in Qatar.Luis Enrique is at Spain and we don’t know if he’s willing to leave that job after the WC.
