Next Manager after Pep

Hate topics like this, but was put respectfully enough;)

As things stand Arteta looks like the best solution, but actually the main obstacle hear would be his great success at Arsenal. If he take them all the way once or twice, then it would be hard switch for him, pressure from supporters againts altering to a club within a league, even he worked there previously. My feeling it would get easier to be done, if he only be a tiny success;), like good football on the pitch, but rather a proper fight for top4 than championship. Its even more a point in case of Ten Hag for instance.

Conte/Tuchel not for me as the change of style would be massive and its not only about football - so far there is lack of evidence, that they are able to work somewhere long term, even if its not their fault. I do not think its a good match up with club's philosophy. For some reasons I do not like Rodgers as a choice. Also question mark over a switch from a relatively small club like Brentford to a high profile team with superstars for coaches like Frank, lets also see in this area how Potter is going to end up with his career.

To early to judge definitely on Kompany, but he is one to follow in coming years for sure. Same actually for Vieira.

There are many not obvious ones, who would need a proper examination, but Pep and Txiki definitely appreciate a lot Marcelo Gallardo and Roberto De Zerbi.

Don't worry about it, we'll survive, well unless the owners get bored without Pep and all the Spanish collection that will leave with Pep and all the players who only joined us because of Pep.

Didn't he just sign a new contract ???
And he may well extend yet again.
People should appreciate having him as our manager instead of dwelling on these ridiculous hypotheticals.

To be honest mate I doubt any transition will be seamless...look at post Mourinho Chelsea (1st time), post Slurgie United, Arsenal fell out of champs league when Wenger went and are only just getting back now...

I think possibly we are kidding ourselves if there wont be at least a slight hurdle. Question is how big and how long that will be. It will be hard for anyone to be the "post Pep" Manager. He wont know whether to stick or twist, introducing his own style or keeping one that may be foreign to him but has brought amazing success to the team.

We just to make sure it doesnt go utterly out of control like it did down the road. Granted our upper management is miles better than theres so Im confident it wont be that like their car crash was but still.

I think Vinny would get patience for a season blip as hes a crowd favorite but I wouldnt want his legacy ruined if he did a Lampard, so Im torn on him even though its great to see him do well at Burnley.

Assuming Pep is gone after two more years the new fella, will have to very probably replace Kev and will have seen Bernie, Gundo and possibly Kyle & Riyad gone as well, so we have to make sure our recruitment is shit hot before that. Replacing that lot may even be more important than replacing Pep and there are more teams with cash to burn than there were 10 years ago. We would be stuck with a crap manager for 18 months, we could be stuck with crap players for 5 years. Ask the rags.

Doesn't matter. This period will be over. We've dominated for nearly a decade, place at the top table sealed, records set, red twats well and truly beaten.

It's the manager that makes the clubs successful as it is and we can't get anyone better.

But, we've got good owners and they will ensure we don't go bad and toxic like utd or lfc.

I don't even mind if pep doesn't get to win the CL with City, that excitement is to come.

So, anyone for me, as long as they're good.
