Arteta will not leave arsenal for city that is his baby now win the league with them this season he has a job for life there..
He will leave Arsenal.

Why would he want a job for life at Arsenal? when he has the potential to do bigger and better things. On better money. With more to spend in the market.

City, Barcelona, Spain.

He'd take any of those jobs in a heartbeat.

Don't think City were impressed the way Arteta met Arsenal execs after we played them, without any approach from Arsenal. It was all a bit underhand. Don't think City will have him near the top of any Pep replacements personally. Trust a manager who's gone behind your back before......Nah.

Hopefully Kompany gets Burnley promoted and we have a period of observing how he performs in the Premier League. Really hoping it can be him, but he’ll need to prove it first.
I don’t want to turn into 1990s Liverpool appointing Souness and Roy Evans because they knew the ‘Liverpool Way’ and the Boot Room, or 2010s ‘give it to Giggsy until the end of the season’ United with them appointing the likes of Solskjaer, Phelan, Carrick, Fletcher etc. because they know the ‘United Way’.

The only manager we should be getting next should be utterly good enough for the job.

If it is Kompany then great, but this romantic idea that he’s just going to step up and be good enough for City is far-fetched… although not impossible.

And even if we do appoint Kompany and he doesn’t work out the last thing we want to start saying is ‘well, give it to Fernandinho until the end of the season, with Zaba as his number 2, they know the City Way’.

All we want is the next right person for the job.

Would we even be taking about Kompany if he’d never played for City and played for Hamburg his entire career and just managed Anderlecht and Burnley? I don’t think we would.
