Next seasons home shirt (allegedly)

I don't buy or wear replica kits unless it's a classic like the 70's bell kit or umbros first kit when we resigned with them but this new one is shite and does not have any relevance to city's uniforn, and I use the word uniform because that what it is, a set of colours worn with pride by supporters and hopefully players. Blue & white. classic maroon aways that make maroon our 3rd colour or navy socks.

Could we win the league and cups in it? of course. Will fans care if that was the shirt we wore if we won our first champs league in it? Probably not.

So it's shite, to me not a city shirt or short combo but will I still be watching the them every game? of course, I am for the first time just happy our kits last one season only.

I'd say the shirt is a huge part of defining a club is it not? Especially to the casual viewer or the general public.

What if we put pink ribbons on the arms and a lipstick mark on the collar, retaining a shade of blue of course....

I doubt neutrals even notice. I couldn't tell you if the rag's shade of red was the same as last season or no, they look like cunts whatever

Clubs evolve my friend, it's the nature of the beast... 4 years ago the idea of the CFG was going to infringe on our identity, has it? Caring is one thing but having moronic posts from eeejits talking about boycotting is frankly preposterous..

Mate, clubs evolve, but that doesn't mean their identity becomes irrelevant. That it no longer matters, that our more than a hundred year old identity should be dictated to us by some fucking Yank kit manufacturers.

Everyone around the world should be able to identify those clubs.
