Mate, clubs evolve, but that doesn't mean their identity becomes irrelevant. That it no longer matters, that our more than a hundred year old identity should be dictated to us by some fucking Yank kit manufacturers.

Everyone around the world should be able to identify those clubs.

Can you say the same of us?

Most of those could be 2 or 3 clubs, is that last one Wimbledon?

Apparently it isn't because if the shirt turns out to be one with darker sleeves, our club won't suddenly be redefined.

Maybe not, more because Man City's colours aren't as notorious as Celtic's, Reals, Barca's,Uniteds, Milan's etc yet. But as its been stated, it's only a year thing so it'll go back to normal next season so ain't too big an issue

Not really disproving my point mate. You knew who the kit belonged to.

We have a mish mash every single fucking year, there's no continuity. We have to demand that our identity is respected, because the clowns at Nike think it's interchangeable, that they can decide what it is.

Seems some on here would only kick up a stink if we did a Cardiff and turned out in red. No doubt there'd be a few whoppers saying that it wouldn't matter if we won the league in it.

Yes -- the burgundy 05-06 which, ironically, became iconic.

And Liverpool wore white shorts every year between 1900 and 1964.

I get RDOG's point though. We SHOULD be consistently sky blue with white trim and white shorts. The fact that we aren't is disappointing, but it never ruins my day.
