Neymar

I agree with your sentiment but I don’t agree with the setting us back years argument yourself and others use. I’m 50/50 on this much like you, but if he signed and after this season it looked like it wasn’t going to work out then we get rid. Yes it may cost us money but he’d be gone. He’s not going to cost us any trophies so as long as we realise that he’s got one season to prove the doubters wrong then it’s a no brainier for me really due to the revenue and fear factor he’d bring to us.
Get rid where though? It’s clear psg are struggling to get rid

He'd replace a lot of the experience we've lost in forward areas, bit of a weird one though with some baggage. And we've just lost our brazilian contingent so he'd have no buddies around him, might cause a few problems.

Why is it clear they can’t get rid? He’s on daft wages, if he joined us that’d be a condition that they are drastically reduced. If he wants to play football he’ll move on, if he comes here and falls short then we pack him off to New York until he signs for another club. There’s ways to get rid, it’ll cost us but it’ll not ruin or destroy us in any way. We’d take a hit and move on.

Eddie’s still here!

personally wouldn't want him anywhere near the club.

Technically obviously he is superb BUT application, effort and heart all hugely lacking....no work rate and petulant

Would completely ruin the dressing room - toxic character

31 years old who doesnt put the effort in to fit into peps system

Just kind of answered the question there, struggling to get rid due to his wages. Where ever he goes he will get a decent whack. We aren’t going to get rid after one year. It’s not a move within how we operate for me

Can I ask, I’m genuinely 50/50 on this, but what are people basing the disruptive behaviour or “will ruin us” on? Actually evidence or media chatter? Is he a diver? Yes but it’s not a unique feature, it’s been seen many times before with South Americans. Does he moan? Yes but again nothing unusual or detracts from his undeniable skill.
All I’m seeing are what if’s rather than he did XYZ at ABC club, with evidence to back it up. He sulks because he’s a winner, Messi is exactly the same… Most winners are, it’s why they are winners.
He has an itch, a desire to play for Pep and has been quoted saying it many times. Pep is an admirer of him and again has said it many times before. The one man who could talk Neymar into his Barça form and motivate him is Pep. I think that’s genuinely the problem, he’s not motivated at PSG as it’s a funny set up. Maybe he needs a new club, a new start, a manager to motivate him and who believes in him? Maybe he needs a fan base to wow who appreciate his skill? Maybe he’s a ****, but maybe he’s just not happy where he is?
Either way, if the club want him they’ll of spoken to him and he’ll know what’s expected. If Pep wants him them who am I to argue with his genius.

I also said I see him leaving but he’ll know he needs a pay cut, he’ll take one to shine if needs be. He’s a glory hunter, he wants to win at all costs.
