Neymar is the total opposite of what City buy. Non-starter.
Maybe you're not entirely tapped into the kind of player City "go for".
Neymar is the total opposite of what City buy. Non-starter.
Ridiculously easy league where Bernardo Silva's and Lionel Messi's stats pale in comparison to Neymar's.Spent the last few seasons generally doing very little in the ridiculously easy French league.
In the Iceland radio interview with Soriano he mentioned that it's up to Txiki to decide when a signing is the right thing for the club and for the manager and for the player.
So as much as Pep's opinion on Neymar is a huge consideration so too is what Txiki believes is in the long term best interest.of the club.
And given that there were hints about Ronaldo and Pogba, it seems to me like Txiki believes that we are at the right moment on our progression to have a high profile social media darling.
Didn't even mention Haaland.I think the last paragraph really rings true. We have now made offers to Messi, Ronaldo, Pogba and possibly Neymar in 3 successive summers.
As for the rest...I think we should all know that Txiki and Soriano know that what's best for the club is what Pep wants. 1 because they want to keep him as happy as possible, and 2 because they simply respect him so much that if he wants something they know it's going to benefit the club.
Bernado is a different type of player. No one put Messi in the shade when he was in his prime. Which was for about 15 years.Ridiculously easy league where Bernardo Silva's and Lionel Messi's stats pale in comparison to Neymar's.

Pep - gushes about everyone, hes always complimentory no matter who.
Age - I dont know what age has to do with it. We play whoever at whatever age.
Ditto workrate but what / where are these stats that somehow show he's more workman than sterling?
Personality - Well yes we know the bloke. He rolls around the pitch feigning injury. He bitches about his team mates etc. They're not our teams qualities. He does that quite a lot. (I dont doubt he's a good player btw)
Ronaldo - a fantastic leader? Seriously? wtf, he was bitching on the pitch about his team mates, young players who needed encouragement he moaned about - And whats he doing now.... Fucking off rather than helping the club (He says) he loves.
When I say the opposite, I mean all the above - We dont employ people like that, our players work hard, dont complain, and support their team mates. Total and utter opposite of what Neymar is.
Here's a lovely video of Neymars skills
He was a different kind of player who played the same position on the other side.Bernado is a different type of player. No one puts a Messi in the shape when he was in his prime. Which was for about 15 years.
Not at all, i just dont think we shouldn't sign overated diving prima Donna's with massive egos on massive wages. We should never sign player from this easy french league by your logic, that's the problem.
I dont rate him particularly highly and I certainly don't like some of his antics on a pitch. I would be very disappointed if we signed him.He was a different kind of player who played the same position on the other side.
Messi scored 30 goals in La Liga in 2020/21. He got 6 goals in Ligue 1 in 2021/22.
It's not as shit a league as you like to pretend. Remember us getting knocked out by Lyon?
Should we just never sign anyone from the country that produces the most amount of talent in the world rn?
You are right. I don't think we shouldn't too. As long as Guardiola wants him.Not at all, i just dont think we shouldn't sign overated diving prima Donna's with massive egos on massive wages.
Youre easily pleasedI like Sam Lee

No but we need it in the champions leagueI hate cheats like this. We don't need his sort at City.
Spot on.I hate cheats like this. We don't need his sort at City.
Unless England do it in a tournament and then everything's gravySpot on.
Cheats and feigning injury are the biggest gripes to most football fans.
I don't want him either, but youre kidding yourself if you believe he'd be our first who would rather not stay on his feet.I hate cheats like this. We don't need his sort at City.
So who do you think cheats more at City than Neymar?I don't want him either, but youre kidding yourself if you believe he'd be our first who would rather not stay on his feet.
