PSG are not daft, they know that an element of their outlay can be offset by this. I cant see this being anything like the case with Mbappe, not yet anyway.

As we know football fans are a fickle bunch, even some of our own, I'd say there's every chance. Neymar does still just have that 'presence' about him though, he's a party boy whereas (thankfully) our Gabby seems the consummate pro. However if Neymars form is just none existent or he gets injured or something and Brazil go on to win the cup on the back of Gabbys goals then there's no doubt in my mind who will be more revered and clubwise his increased exposure etc will make his fee look even more of the bargain it looks now.

When he was 20, he was on the front cover of time magazine called the next Pele, the biggest clubs in the world wanted him from the age of 14.

Gabriel Jesus was a complete unknown until a year ago, he would have to win the ballon d'or or carry Brazil to a world cup single handedly to get up to a similar level - and even then he wouldn't have the longevity of fame to compete with Neymar who's been a household name for nearly a decade.

If you take add on's, player's signing on fees and agent fees, I think it's fair to say, yes it's the rags fault the market is so inflated. 2 year's on the bounce they have spent upwards of 100mil on one player. To top it all, one of them left them 4 year's before for less than a million pounds.

Whilst I'm not disputing what you say in the first paragraph, Neymar as I aluded to myself has a 'presence' without doubt. However are you seriously saying if he has a non existent world cup yet Brazil, a football mad nation, whose national team has underperformed by their own high standards go on to win their first world cup in nearly 20 years and achieve this on the back of Gabbys goals, you still think Neymar will be a hotter property than Jesus for years to come?

I've just seen Klopps comments alongside those of La Liga. It's taken a while and a huge transfer fee but the mask has finally slipped.
