NFL?

adhd is a serious obstacle to appreciating the merits of several major sports, rugby not being one.

I watched a College game last night over here and it was completely different to the NFL stuff we see. Nowhere near as many ad breaks they just got on with the game. Really enjoyed it to be honest and I'm a big rugby league fan.
I understand the financial aspect when you get to the NFL juggernaut but far more entertaining to watch the College level. There are still some fooking big bastards play it though !

i much prefer the college game to the NFL, as you say its far more entertaining and i believe watched by more people than any other sport in the states, the crowds they get are utterly ridiculous with several averaging over 100,000

The atmospheres in the college games are much better than the NFL, looking forward to the national championship game, hopefully there are a few more points than the last time they met :D

oh it has to give em a lift, the marching bands are amusing too, every game is like carnival atmosphere.....i follow Mizzou Tigers, two of my stepsons live in Columbia, Missouri and although have been past their stadium several times have not got to a game yet

The crowds in College Football are insanely big at times, fair enough that some of them are made up from the student body.

As for the National Championship, I expect it to be a good game but still would have preferred to see LSU v Oklahoma State, rather than an LSU rematch with Alabama - regardless though, how many times do the Bowl Games have to be announced & end up with some controversy before the BCS will accept that some kind of play-off format is required? (though I doubt they ever will...)
