NHS being recommended 1% pay rise

I think so many nurses have post traumatic stress and depression and anxiety now there will soon be a massive hole when they leave or take extended leave , this pay row is the last kick in the head
Iv been waiting for a "online consultation " all day cos i cant see my dr
been drinking since 8.30 am this morning,its what i have done every single day off /holiday since 1 year ago.

a time bomb is primed and ready , for nhs staff.
like you say,the fucking audacity to offer 1% was just too much to take.

Sorry you are suffering lovely , i appreciate what you and your wife have done , brave and the effects very underestimated and lost in the numbers people obsess about every day

its been a life long habbit,but been a bigger comforter than usual of late ( alcohol ),nevermind.
 
What have they done wrong?
It looks like they made some money by being awarded a contract that they qualified for by being an approved supplier on a government framework contract.

Clearly even making money legitimately thru the right channels is looked upon with distain by some on this forum. Lol

It wasn't through a competitive tender. The article features in The Times, not The Morning Star.

Some people got stinking rich off the back of the government's incompetent approach to procurement. Some of the stuff bought has turned out to be unusable- it is fair to question their motivations for granting contracts for cronies (Tory friends and donors).
