No-one passing to Haaland.

Funny how teams can get the ball forward within 3-5 passes whilst were still pissing around with it at the back.

We have the best manager in the world, let him manage. Let's also give credit to the other sides who have worked out how to play against us. We need to be smart enough to adapt to their tactics.

It's every game now. He makes runs after runs after runs. No one ever passes to him or even attempts to. Its pissing me off. Can't imagine how he's feeling.

He's 7ft tall ffs. Chip it to him more often. It's driving me insane watching all the wasted opportunities.

Is anyone else getting as frustrated with this as I am?
Yes

Bernardo is the worst culprit for it. I'll probably cop some flack for this statement but it's a issue and I've seen it crop up in two games from Bernardo now. Against the Rags Bernardo would go forward and Haaland would make the run, then for whatever reason Bernardo turns and goes backwards or sideways. Then tonight he did it again on multiple occasions.....just play the fucking ball through and give him something to run onto.

If Gundo or Kev don't start the service to Haaland is restricted from the get go. Case in point what just happened it's a absolute joke we don't utilise our main weapon, especially after Romero was booked as well. It's either poor tactics or something else entirely.
Problem is it seems both Kev and Gundo are struggling to keep up with the pace of the game, mainly in defense, they just get bypassed so there's no control in the middle.

But agree, Bernado isn't releasing the ball for Haaland. Don't think I've actually seen him try a through ball for him.

There's some truth in it. I think he suits the counter attack more than slow build up play. He makes his run at the moment the ball is turned over. Now he has to wait for 3 or 4 passes to receive the ball. By then he is marked out of the game by 3 defenders. And is not taking up the positions he does from instinct. He has to check back and find a new space after the disappointment of not being played in the first time. He will always score goals, especially in a team that plays risky balls forward that he thrives on. Pep hates risky balls forward. It sometimes means relinquishing procession.

I the reason is two fold. Firstly, we don't have creative playmaking players apart from Kevin (most of Haalands goals have been assisted by Kevin) nor overlapping fullbacks to put crosses in. Secondly, I think playing with that sort of striker is against Peps philosophy of walking the ball in the back of the net.

Someone has to change. We can’t continue like this. He makes great runs that we ignore. When we do try (rarely) we sometimes lose the ball and have to defend a counterattack. So be it. I would rather have a 4-3 than a 1-0 defeat because of our caution with the ball. Why the hell did we buy him if we are not going to utilise his god given talent.
