No Training Today?

This #Together campaign is going down well.

Fans leaving with 10 mins to go. Players arguing on the pitch. Players (reportedly) fighting in the dressing room. Players jetting off to different countries following poor results during a title run in

Madness!

This is just fucking ridiculous, apologies for the use of the expletive, but this is getting beyond a joke now.

I posted yesterday about how relevant it was for Mancini to give the lads two days away last week, rather than time together somewhere as a squad.

Now we hear Zaba is on his way to Barcelona today, De Jong is in Amsterdam.

Sure, these lads earn amounts which means they can do what they want, when they want.

But these plane journeys are taking the piss.

Got to agree with this. The players should not be flying, day off or not. Given the last performance, they should be training.

Very difficult to impose rules like that if the manager is himself back in Italy today.

It's working a treat

Pretty disappointed in this.

As someone has already pointed out, makes a mockery of the "together" campaign.

Doesnt have to be physical training either, could quite easily be some kind of team event, galvanise the squad (going to the Drake concert last night at the MEN doesnt count)

Hate to say it, but you can bet it wouldnt happen across the road.

it hasnt been last few months.

just dont think our squad should be all spread over europe .

no qualms with the day off.

but relax ffs.

Not haing read the entire thread, but as far as I understand it, the management gaev the players a day off?

WTF??!
Did we not justy play a very poor game, and do we not only have a few games left to play? We're fighting for the title of the PL and we're on an extremely poor run of games, and they get to travel abroad?

Again, Mancini's man-managent seem non-existing.

He could learn a lot from Fergie, who at least kept the team together and travelled up to Scotland for a few rounds of golf.
How can separating the team in any way gel them together in this very delicate time?

Fine, let's say they were exhausted and really really needed a day off to heal and recover... well then at least they ought to be forbidden to travel. Just stay home and chill and come back the following morning ready for training.

I just don't get it...
