Non-League Football

I've watched a lot of Unibond league footy because my son is/was captain of Prescot Cables, but he's just about to complete a move....

The football is a breath of fresh air...proper tackles, not that much diving around, and lads fully committed.

Everyone should try a match next season.

Good luck to your lad but not when they, if they come up against Maine Road FC.

Is Joe Gibiliru still manager at Prescot? He managed Winsford for a couple of years and played some awful football, real Sam Allardyce style...

Pah! I'll believe it when it's on the OS. ;)

my mate steve eyres who coaches our youth team is the reason i have gone from full time to part time hours at work. although it still baffles me that he didn't become a top top player in the football league, he certainly ended up being a top non league player. If you ever bump into him at platt lane, and you want to know ANYTHING about non league at any level he would give you the answer. That is why i always try and grab him to find out who will beat who and this knowledge always ends up paying my rent and feeding my kids.

i personally think my local team salford city will do ok this year but my non league selctions for 2010/11 will be luton town to win the blue square prem and alfreton to win the blue square north.
