Cheers!Yeah it’s possible. It would mean closing the bottom tier off though and I’d imagine they want the seats there while they build the new upper section. There’s the possibility some seats in the 2nd tier will be lost during construction so they won’t want to lose too much revenue.
Maybe if we get an expanded 2nd tier they’ll consider joining up the bottom and top in future but financially they might not think it’s worth it since there would be no extra income as a result of it. It would cost a good few million while bringing no extra capacity.

Every day that passes is a day closer to the concepts being seen. They said early 2023 so it will be March at the latest I’d imagine.

An expanded second tier needs to be where the singing section is moved too and it must have safe standing.

Maybe they’ll show 2 and 3 tiers and ask fans which one they want by asking for feedback.

All these good and constructive ideas for improving the atmosphere along with the North stand expansion are dependent on one thing, the club taking them onboard, agreeing with them, and making them happen. (in conjunction with the fans)
When the North stand expansion public consultation takes place and the club asks for your feedback and ideas for the expanded North stand, please include your ideas for making the expanded North stand a proper home end that will create a proper and lasting atmosphere.
The more feedback the club get, the more likely they will take notice of the fans, and the more likely they will look at the ideas seriously and take them onboard. :-)
