North Stand Construction Discussion

A few people have asked how the hole where the cranes were would be filled, that is now in progress and the rebar tieing in etc.

The first bank of seats is in behind the hoarding. When that eventually comes down, the full impact of the single tier will realy show. Also, so far, they are not padded. That can change as they go, but hopefully if they are all the same, then I aould say that points to the GA+ area having 'swapped' with the tier below and the city hall, rather than both and additional. How that impacts the actual city hall is yet to be seen.

The first 3 levels are commercial space and retail. The museum us two floors above that. Then office above that. The 3rd floor is the only one that physically links to the stand, so imagine some element of club shop would be there that you can access directly feom the stadium, either at the end of a tour or pre game.

There is scope for them to subdivide and sublet the ground floor commercial units but at least some portion of it be part of the club store with two floors above, no doubt.

From a conversation with a tour guide there is going to be a VT expierence and the tour will end with that so Im guessing that the museum will be on level 3 above the store and the floor above will be the enhanced VT experience which might be an add-on to the tour

That makes sense. I always thought part of the museum and shop will share the 3rd floor. Purely because of that being the link to the stand. Also then ensures people go through the shop to get to the museum, whether from the stand or the ground floor at City Square outside.
