You get the impression that at present the club is in a total media lockdown, not commenting on anything, good or bad, hence no pricing announcement. I agree, it is an obvious good news story, but given the rampant media bias against us, I can understand the siege mentality. It all suggests that the judgement is genuinely imminent.

To be fair the club have been very quiet since the very start , as alluded to before it’s just the way they are , I don’t see the reasonings behind your final statement about imminent judgements ??

We knew the season ticket prices by this time last year.

If we are to drop into the National League they will not to be able to charge what they do now.

Last year they came out early, in recent years before that it has been June.

The EFL haven't charged us so can't relegate us.

It is simply an opinion. At the moment, absolutely anything the club says will be scrutinised for hidden meaning, soft signals etc. I think it highly likely that the pricing for next year would have been announced by now normally for example. I suspect that there is a huge determination at City not to give the PL any ammunition or a win, in being able to say we breached confidentiality, and the best way of avoiding even the merest hint of that is complete lockdown, which is how it feels to me presently. There is always that moment of complete silence before a big wave breaks.

I would assume the same way they determined any demand at all, to get to the 3000. Through consultations or fangroup led consultations. The timing of these, and who organises them and when, that is the unknown.

Credit to the 1984 who did a big survey, but as I had pointed out before the club also did a few months worth of consulting prior to the PA being public. I have previously posted extracts from their report on this, including the demand for atmosphere etc, can dig them up if needed.

Albeit should remind myself as well as you that we might end up derailing the thread and this discussion might be better on the other thread.


Agree wholeheartedly fwiw, the best way to detemine demand for further standing arrangements, while it is still unser construction, would be to start making them available and seeing how quickly they go.

Despite all the criticism- I think the hotel is looking pretty good.
 
I don’t have a problem with the club not making a big deal about the North Stand expansion, but grateful for the photos and drone videos of the progress. If City’s owners posted regular updates on the expansion, hotel, fan zone, shop, museum and offices, it would just encourage the WUMS, better to keep a low profile and announce the finished product at the right moment.
 
The "bubble" roof at Manchester Victoria Station is made of ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) panels, a light but strong plastic used to bring in light to the station concourse.
